Xuefei performed Rodrigo's solo piece Invocacion y Danza at the concert, a piece which she also recorded for this album.
Xuefei made a visit to the palace and gardens at Aranjuez, after which Rodrigo named his famous concerto.
Many of the photos used on this site were taken in the beautiful gardens here, where Joaquin Rodrigo and his wife Victoria spent many happy times .
After recording Xuefei spent a few days in the south of Spain to visit friends. The highlight of the holiday was a spontaneous session where Xuefei accompanied the celebrated flamenco dancer Raquel de Luna, in the dancer's studio in Arroyo de la Miel, Spain ...
.. and received an impromptu flamenco dance lesson, which she greatly enjoyed.
