Xuefei’s Wigmore Hall recital, April 2008
On April 16th, Xuefei played to a sell-out audience at London's Wigmore Hall.
The program was taken from her latest EMI CD, 40 Degrees North, featuring Spanish and Chinese music - music familiar to Xuefei from her childhood in Beijing.
The concert was greeted with enthusiastic, warm applause. Xuefei responded with two encores : Steve Goss's, "Yellow Earth", a piece based on a Chinese film of the same name, and Sagreras's, "El Colibri."
